Welcome to the Philanthropy Matters Website.  

Philanthropy Matters 2007 took place at Te Papa in Wellington on 27-28 March.  This very successful conference presented many opportunities to advance the discussion about the relationship between philanthropic giving and grantmaking in New Zealand and the wider global environment. The future strategic direction of New Zealand philanthropy and the value of philanthropy and grantmaking were discussed during keynote and concurrent sessions.
